Earnings season kicks off today with Alcoa releasing its earnings after the close. Monsanto and Wells Fargo are soon to follow. Is there global growth or contraction in the future? There is little in the way of economic releases again today. Stocks are meandering while the long end of the bond market, the thirty year, could reverse its intermediate trend with a higher close today. Crude is being nudged higher by advances in the products.
