Yesterday’s top performers were Natural Gas and Wheat.

2.05.2014

Top Day Market News

Yesterday’s top performers were Natural Gas and Wheat while the worst performers were platinum and lumber.

Today’s a fairly active day with the 4:28 AM release of the UK Services Purchasing Manager’s Index. Then at 8:15 we flip the script to the US and look at the ADP Private Jobs Forecast. The Street is looking for an add of 191K. Then we get the US ISM non-manufacturing purchasing index and this is expected to show a reading of 53.6. Then to end the day or begin it depending on where you’re standing, we get the Australian Retail Sales number at 7:30 pm.

Yesterday was a mini reversal Tuesday but didn’t have the jaw dropping moves we’re beginning to grow accustomed to. Nice movement in Aussie last night for the first three hours.
