3.18.2014

Top Day Market News

Markets were fairly quiet overnight. VP traded nicely hitting resistance and support levels. Speculative interest remains too long the dollar against the EC. The Royal Bank of Australia continues to state that their currency remains overvalued against historical measurement. Vladimir Putin supports the results of the Crimean referendum stressing its legality. The West continues to take the opposite side of the argument.

Today we get the Consumer Price Index at 8:30.

Other than that, markets are positioning in front of tomorrow’s Federal Open Market Committee meeting and their rate decision.
