Top Day Market News
Weekly jobless claims come in at 352,000. This is not a market changing number. There is a bit better risk appetite this morning as a Spanish debt auction goes well and borrowing costs across the euro region edge lower as a result. Consequently, European currency are higher while the yen is lower and gold attempts to stabilize. Confidence is not great however as the market gets ripped in one direction then another depending on what day of the week it is. It’s difficult to stay with bullish positions on a negative day and it’s difficult to stay with bearish positions on a positive day. For the moment, each trading day currently stands as a one- day phenomena.
