Top Day Market News
Sell in May and go away? Well, you might be tempted to say that stratagem was in force after the run the market had in Q1.
As it is May Day, identification had to be shown on Broadway to access the lower canyons of Wall Street this morning. A protest is in the air.
ADP Private jobs number comes in at +119,000 which is lower than the expectation is less than the expectation of +150,000. Sequestration, the increasing cost of health care and higher payroll taxes probably all have a hand in this drag on job creation. This number as a stand-alone data point is that particular good for stocks, it is a dollar positive, a bond positive and a crude oil negative.
