Top Day Recommendations
The unemployment number comes in at +175. The Street was looking for 163K. So this is a beat. Revisions were to the downside. Fiscal headwinds due to sequestration have yet to provide a real impediment to the market. Yesterday, currencies went ballistic to the upside with unwinding of the Yen carry trade. Money has been coming out of Japanese stocks and back into cash. Draghi’s comments yesterday at the ECB meeting were positive for the currency as he indicated that there was no need to achieve a zero interest rate target
