The Greek election looms

Market News

Top Day Market News

6.14.12

Where to begin? What actionable suggestions to make? Spanish 10 year hits 7%, currently at 6.984%. Their credit rating was cut to one level above junk. The yield is a post Ec high. US Bonds are under slight pressure before the auction of $13 Billion in 30 year Bonds. The Greek election looms. We’ll start to get a feel for the outcome at approximate 1PM on Sunday.  It’s hard to believe that the equities market will hold a bid going into Sunday. OPEC is meeting and Saudi’s want higher production levels while Iran and others want cuts in production; the stalemate should produce a rollover. WTI looks destined for $75 a barrel. In this type of market environment, tread lightly and carry a swift sword.
