Just housing starts and building permits out at 8:30. In the aftermath of the Greek elections, many observers are now coming to the conclusion that the feeble coalition government that will emerge is not the best result. The better result, in the big picture, would have been for the anti-bailout group to have won precipitating a crisis and with it decisive action out of Brussels. Now, it seems that all that has been won is time and a delay of the inevitable.
The Fed begins a two day meeting with the probability that they will leave rates unchanged and QE3 or 23 or 33 just a possibility. G-20 meeting in Mexico but then again, nothing massive ever seems to come out of the G-20 meetings.
