Top Day Market News
Durable goods orders come in better than expected at 3.6%. We also get Case Shiller housing data at 9 and Consumer Confidence and New Home Sales at 10. Overnight, stocks trade higher and the durable goods number helps continue that momentum. Price action yesterday of note was the rebound in the Bond market from the lows. The market had fallen 7 ½ points from the highs, a considerable move. Consumer confidence is expected to be a bit lower from last month’s elevated reading. This is a high volatility period of time. The one way to navigate times like these is to reduce contract size.
