Crude was lower on lack of fresh headlines.

7.02.2014

Top Day Market News

Two big items again today: the ADP private jobs forecast at 8:15 and Factory orders at 10. Oil inventories at 10:30.

In the holiday week, with a lack of serious sellers around, the market surges higher. Maybe some of this is in expectation of a strong rebound in non farm payrolls on Thursday. The Yen was lower on lack of risk aversion. Bonds were lower in a counter reaction to the new equity market highs. Crude was lower on lack of fresh headlines. Grains continued under pressure due to crop size pressure.
