No economic releases today. IBM sees a downgrade. Dollar remains strong. The UAE pledges $3 billion in aid to Egypt.
This seems to be a period of extremes with the dollar at a three year high (coincident with higher short term rates) and crude at 14 month highs.
The IMF will be releasing an updated world economic forecast later today which will get coverage. Disappointing manufacturing numbers in the UK pressures the Pound. Canadian housing starts better than expected.
