Top Day Market News
Tapering isn’t tightening, or at least that seemed to be the message delivered by Fed Chairman Bernanke in his press conference after the release of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting yesterday. As the bulk of his comments came after the stock market close, there was a wild, knee jerk reaction in in the dollar and interest rates which both, basically staged a mini collapse.
Weekly jobless claims climb unexpectedly to a two month high and crude is actually lower on the day.
