Dollar rises against yen as calm returns after last week's Turkish coup attempt. Meanwhile, the Turkish lira rose against the dollar, partially recovering from its largest one-day drop in nearly eight years as Turkey’s government reasserted control of the country. For the year, the turkish lira has dropped 1.4% against the U.S. dollar.
Oil futures settled lower on Monday, losing more than 1% as traders shrugged off worries of supply disruptions from the attempted coup in Turkey.
