Top Day Market News
No economic releases today. Euro continues to probe lower and is trading at eight month lows. Crude continues to be pressured by a stronger dollar. Non-farm payrolls came in less than expected. Some had feared a number closer to 300K rather than the 218K that came in. This was an equity market positive as it turned back expectations that the Fed would be motivated to raise rates sooner than later.
