Gold set to make gains for the third session in a row.

Gold set to make gains for the third session in a row.  Prices for the yellow metal still on the rise after an increase in demand earlier this year.

Oil futures climbed Thursday, rebounding from earlier declines, as comments from Saudi Arabia’s energy minister raised the possibility that major producers will take action to stabilize the market at a meeting planned for September.  This comes after yesterday's drop in crude due to a weekly rise U.S. crude inventories and record output by Saudi Arabia.

Treasury prices dropped Thursday, leading yields to make a come back from a one-week low reached yesterday, as a rally in assets perceived as risky, mainly equities and oil futures, led investors to sell haven assets like government debt.
