Commodities were under significant selling pressure wire to wire yesterday as the dollar maintained its upwards bias and US interest rates actually backed up. The EC plans on imposing more sanctions against Russia as regular Russian troops are said to be replacing insurgent forces in the Ukraine. Nato is also preparing a response force of 4,000 to indicate that Nato and the US will defend Nato countries.
