This morning is overshadowed by the killing of the US Ambassador to Libya as the consulate was attacked in Benghazi. Overnight, German courts ruled that German participation in the European Stabilization Mechanism is basically legal. This resulted in a spike in prices around 4 am both in equities and debt futures. EC is 41 better on the session. Gold is $10 higher on currency devaluation. The two day Fed meeting begins today with the rate announcement and the possibility of stimulus in the form of QE3 being announced tomorrow. Inflation in Iran is running rampant.
