Top Day Market News
Retail sales today should move the needle. The final data point of the week will be the HFT favorite, the University of Michigan consumer confidence number at 9:55 am.
Oil had a short covering rebound yesterday on statements from Putin regarding the Ukraine. Other than that, markets continue to deleverage in front of next week’s event risk. The market is anticipating interest rate decisions and monetary policy decisions by Central Banks. Looking back, the dollar has been in a 9 week rally which is the longest stretch of strength in 15 years.
