Federal Open Market Committee decision out at 12:30. To stimulate or to wait? After making a strong case for the efficacy of stimulus at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, it seems as though the Fed Chairman didn’t leave himself much wiggle room not to bring QE3. At least that’s been the market’s reading of the current state of affairs over the past two weeks. The Swiss Franc is lower against EC as the Swiss central bank will defend their currency by buying other currencies in unlimited quantities. Tread lightly around noontime today. There could be a quantum moment.
