No eco releases today. Despite continuing signs of world economic contraction and attendant headwinds, the equity market continues to grind higher. It’s the path of least resistance, at least going into the election. FED policy almost compels that money is taken out of the mattresses and stuffed into the stock market. The chairman has put a put under the stock market. The byproduct of this is currency devaluation due to low, basically nonexistent frontend rates and this allows gold to float higher along with paper assets.
