Top Day Market News
Last night Asian stocks were lower as it is becoming apparent that Chinese stimulus will probably be limited. China in fact may accept slower growth rather than attempt prolonged. Massive quantitative easing. On the other hand, the ECB is attempting to deliberately increase their balance sheet but there is little demand for the money they are making available to banks to in turn lend. Consequently, Europe is just spinning its wheels, going nowhere and increasing the depth of the rut they are in. Inflation remains significantly below their targets and without an appetite for risk, commodities hav collapsed and the dollar continues to rally.
