Second day of shutdown and the markets continue to trade without over reaction.

10-02-2013

Top Day Market News

Second day of shutdown and the markets continue to trade without over reaction. Grains continue to erode in value with corn at a three year low. Harvest pressures have seldom been so pronounced. Aussie worked lower overnight as their trade deficit came in worse than expected. Gold was trying to lift off of eight week lows. With the Department of Energy closed we won’t get the weekly storage and usage numbers.

Today we also get the ADP private jobs forecast number at 8:15.
