Top Day Market News
Another light day in terms of economic releases. Yesterday produced the counter trend rally in the currencies after Friday’s dollar surge in the wake of non-farm payroll numbers. Probably marking the near term top in NY real estate values, the Waldorf Astoria, an American piece of iconic architecture, will be sold to Chinese interests for nearly 2 billion dollars while the management company will retain that function for the next 100 years. Meanwhile, there’s the impression that Ebola is leaking out to the general world with the first case of contraction outside of Africa occurring in Spain.
