Top Day Market News
The unemployment number on Friday, by most metrics, was viewed as positive. Average hourly earnings, hours worked including the headline number were all pointed in the right direction. Overnight, Euro finance ministers gather to discuss, again, their crisis. The World Bank continues to forecast a European economic contraction. China is back after a week long holiday. Angela Merkel will visit Greece for the first time since the beginning of the crisis.
No economic releases over the next two days. Columbus Day has morphed from being a holiday to being a marketing opportunity.
