Crude keeps looking for a bid to hit.

10.09.2014

Top Day Market News

Yesterday was about one thing, short covering after the release of the Beige Book. Obviously, the recent equity decline drew more shorts into the market than one would think so when the Book was released and the immediate interpretation was dovish towards rates the buying spree was on. It was a “get me out at any price” kind of day both in equities and currencies. There was some early market carryover in night trading but the durability of this is very questionable. Crude keeps looking for a bid to hit; 85 is the new 88.
