Top Day Market News
Against a negative supply/demand dynamic, oil rallied overnight on continued concern over tensions at the Turkey/Syrian border and the potential for supply disruptions. Weekly unemployment claims came in at -30K to 339K. A big drop, on the face of it. There’s a 30 year auction today and the results in terms of rate and coverage will be known at 1pm. Asian stocks were lower on a drop in machine tool orders. US stocks are in a correction against recent declines.
