US Producer Price Index minus food and energy comes in at 2.3% versus 2.5% expected and this is mildly constructive for the debt market. The EC is higher on optimism regarding a Spanish bailout. Soybeans lower on USDA report showing greater than expected supply. Beans are headed for their fourth weekly decline. Continuing tensions along the Syrian/Turkey border underpins the oil market.
University of Michigan consumer sentiment out at 9:55. Vice Presidential debate last night has both sides claiming victory. The European Union wins the Nobel Peace Prize. The 1 million dollar award has already been spent however.
