Retail sales comes in +1.1 which was better than consensus while Empire State Manufacturing was lower by -6.6, which was worse than the consensus of -2.0. Oil remains under pressure on global growth concerns. Metals are being influenced by the same concerns. Stocks are positively influenced by retail sales. Greek 10 year bond yield at 17.08% is actually an improvement. Euro zone summit later in the week. Merkel says that there is nothing currently occurring within the confines of the EU that is uncontrollable.
