After the close on Friday, Moody’s downgraded Russia’s credit rating from a confluence of reasons with weaker oil prices being central to the reasoning. Asian stocks were higher last night with European stocks lower. Today is an open news day in terms of economic news releases. Technical should dominate short of new news regarding Ebola. Last week’s massive move down in rates with the 10 year touching 1.868% and the long bond spiking to 148 was attributed to forced liquidation in an illiquid world.
