GDP comes in at 2%, higher than the expectation of 1.8% and 1.3% for Q2. Personal spending holds steady. This is modest trend growth. Housing component was a benefit. U of Michigan consumer confidence comes in later. European bourses go out on the week on a better note. Nothing to be too excited about but at least these numbers don’t reflect deterioration.
