Top Day Market News

Bullish sentiment in oil is now down in the low single digits. Key number today will be retail sales. Currencies were mixed with Canadian dollar succumbing to oil weakness. Stocks were sloppy but held first support and NASDAQ outperformed ES, a bullish construction. Nat Gas even with the polar vortex bearing down, rolled over technically and its intermediate trend is negative. Ideas of BOE raising short term rates have been rolled back. Yen continues to come apart at the seams.
